Hey guys!  Jeeeeeze, been a while, huh? Y'all remember me?  Zimm? Props? Princess Snowglobing? I sure hope so! So what the heck have we all been doing?!  WELL.  Currently, Cary is residing in Russia and preparing to make Princess Snowglobing's International Debut at Animatsuri 2010!  (Sorry, the site is in Russian only) Back here in the states, Zimm (that is, me) is now living just outside of Boston, Mass and is pretending to be a functioning member of society.  Not really working.  Instead I'm just becoming the vice president of the brand new Japanese Culture and Anime Club here on campus.  Basically it's just a bunch of cosplayers getting

Cary here. Feeling funky about costumes so I decided to write about for all y'alls :) Okay, so ironically, despite how many costumes I've made I don't actually have very many in my closet. Up until recently, MY costumes (meaning the ones I make for MYSELF, not any of the other members of PSC) have been rather... sub-par. My costume is usually the last one I even think about finishing and as a result, my costume is rushed and is just generally a hot mess. Hey all! Cary here with an update about how PortCon went. Firstly, THANK YOU SO SO MUCH to everyone who attended our panel! Seriously! We were SHOCKED by how many people came to and STAYED THROUGHOUT our panel! We couldn't stop gushing over it after! Thank you for putting up with our technology!fail and our slight ramblings- we hope you learned some valuable lessons about cosplay in general. Here are actually a few things attendees said on the PortConMaine forums: I think this panel was great. Even though I had heard most of the info before you presented it in an interesting and entertaining way. I feel a lot of people got a lot out of it.
